Pilot prohibited goods policy

Prohibited goods.

Merchants must confirm that each delivery excludes prohibited goods before submitting it to TriniDrop.

No food

Food delivery is outside the MVP. TriniDrop does not support meals, groceries requiring temperature control, perishables, or prepared food in the pilot.

No illicit goods

Illegal items, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, controlled substances, weapons, and goods intended to bypass Trinidad and Tobago law are prohibited.

No hazardous goods

Hazardous, flammable, explosive, corrosive, toxic, infectious, pressurized, or otherwise unsafe materials cannot be sent through the pilot network.

No regulated goods

Regulated items that require special permits, age checks, chain-of-custody controls, or professional handling are not supported unless the owner explicitly approves them in writing.

No fragile exceptions

High-value, irreplaceable, extremely fragile, cash-equivalent, or sensitive personal items should not be sent unless the owner accepts the risk and handling plan.

Admin action

TriniDrop may reject, cancel, return, or hold a delivery if prohibited goods are suspected or if parcel details do not match the merchant declaration.

Merchant responsibility

Merchants are responsible for accurate parcel category, size, value range, and prohibited-goods confirmation before dispatch. False declarations may lead to account suspension.

Driver refusal

Drivers may refuse pickup when a parcel appears unsafe, materially different from the declared details, or outside the approved pilot scope, and admin must record the reason.
